Miss Christine Danelson

About the Teacher:
Miss Christine Danelson is a graduate of Kean University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a Master’s in Social Work.  An alumna of Mother Seton, Miss Danelson participated in the Musical each year of high school (Freshman year: Rosie in “Bye Bye Birdie”; Miss Hannigan in “Annie”; Cowardly Lion in “The Wizard of Oz”; and Mother Abbess in “The Sound of Music” ).  She also participated in the Seton Ensemble and Forensics Team (for which she won 4th at Nationals in Declamation).
After high school, Miss Danelson toured with Broadway’s First National Tour of “Hairspray” as the stand-by for Tracy.  She has also played Tracy in Hairspray at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ.  Off-Broadway, Miss Christine was in “Cloaked” at CAP21 and “bomb.” at Lincoln Center.  She can also be seen on episodes of Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent as well as feature films “My Sassy Girl” (with Elisha Cuthbert and Jesse Bradford) and “Buzz Kill” (with Darrell Hammond, Daniel Raymont and Krysten Ritter).
Currently, Miss Christine can be found in the Guidance Department as School Social Worker.  She also teaches the Music Cycle courses for Freshman and Sophomores, the Music Elective for Juniors and Seniors.   Additionally, she continues to direct the annual school musical, directs the Seton Ensemble, and coaches the Forensics Team.
