Easter Egg Hunt 2018
Mother Seton Regional High School
Clark NJ, March 18, 2018
Alumnae and their families did not have to look further than the school’s gym to find the Easter Bunny and her Bunny Trail. Over 150 adults and children participated in the Egg Hunt sponsored by the Alumnae Association.
Children were divided into four age groups to find the candy filled colored eggs hidden in the hay donated by Schieferstein’s Farm, Clark. One lucky child, from each group, unearthed the Golden Egg to win a delicious solid chocolate bunny.
The Easter Bunny herself was portrayed by Student Council President, Senior, Katherine Blum, who posed at the photo booth (Step It Up Events – generously donated by an anonymous alumna) for pictures with children and their families. The elegant costume Katherine wore was created by alumna, Lydia Ruiz Hull (’67).
Bagels, doughnuts, and beverages were served and the children were delighted to fill bags from the colorful candy bar to take some goodies home after they tried their skill at pin the tail on the bunny game.
Thoughts of an impending fourth Nor’Easter snow storm did nothing to chill the fun at this second annual Easter Egg Hunt at the school. Family was the main idea and fun was the achieved objective.
