What are Ink Bleeds?
In the technique developed by Mrs. Otero, the medium expands throughout the surface of wet paper as it blends with the image for a complete illusion. Ink bleeds are produced using a very bright palette that includes magenta, yellow and blue, creating an array of contrasting hues that vary in intensity. Subject matter includes abstractions, semi-abstractions, landscapes, portraits and still lifes.
